Brothers: It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that Mike Smith passed away over the weekend.

For so many of us, Mike was one of those rare adults who actually showed up, during our college years and long after. He gave his time freely, guided us to be better men, and was always willing to take the call.

We will share any information about a celebration of life or services in the Denver area as it becomes available.

Rest easy, Mike.

The alumni undergraduate golf tournament kicks off the day's festivities on May 17th. Tee times for the golf event will start at 10 am, and the tournament will be held at the Wellshire Golf Course with a modified Scramble Format. Exciting prizes are up for grabs, including:

2 Closest to the pin holes
1st Place - $200 Pro Shop Credit
2nd Place - $100 Pro Shop Credit
3rd Place - $100 Pro Shop Credit

The alumni registration fee for golf is $150, which covers cart fees, lunch, and a beverage ticket. Spots are limited, with only 15 Tee Times available, so sign up promptly using the links at the top or bottom of the email.

Even if you cannot participate in the golf tournament, a Founder's Day Celebration will take place at the chapter house post-golf. Catering will be provided by Dickey's Barbecue, complemented by cold drinks and front yard games. This event presents an excellent opportunity to strengthen bonds with your alumni brothers and get acquainted with the current undergraduates.

We wanted to extend a friendly reminder about the upcoming Alumni-Upperclassmen Happy Hour event this Monday.

If you're in the Denver area, we cordially invite you to join us for a night of camaraderie, reminiscing, and networking.

The event will take place at the Crimson and Gold Tavern, located at 2017 S. University, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Whether you're a recent graduate or a seasoned alumnus, this gathering provides an excellent opportunity to reconnect with the community and share your experiences with the current upperclassmen.

Share your stories, exchange career advice, and revel in the memories of our college days.
We encourage you to spread the word and invite fellow alumni and upperclassmen from your network to join us.

Greetings Brothers! Following a successful initiation last weekend, we're eager to maintain the positive momentum with our undergrads by hosting an alumni happy hour on Monday, March 11th, from 6-8pm at Crimson and Gold Tavern (2017 S University Blvd, Denver, CO 80210).

Join us for a laid-back gathering to introduce upperclassmen to local alumni, creating connections among individuals focused on or working in the same industry. This event presents a fantastic opportunity to engage with juniors and seniors as they navigate their post-DU career plans, showcasing the impact of the Alpha Pi alumni. We've received numerous comments during I-week about our robust alumni network setting Lambda apart from other houses on campus, and let's continue to build on that strength.

While several of us will be present for the entire duration, feel free to drop by for the initial part or whenever it suits you. Crimson and Gold Tavern, a great sports bar with a convenient location, will provide an excellent setting for sharing a beer and catching up. For any questions, please reach out to [email protected].
