We are SO happy to hear that the Wayne State University Athletics Hall of Fame will be renamed the David L. Holmes WSU Athletics Hall of Fame!

Last spring, we published COACH OF CHAMPIONS which is a behind-the-scenes look at Holmes who served with the university for forty-one years, including as athletic director and track coach. Holmes emerged as a first-rate coach and mentor dedicated to supporting athletes of all races and coached many to become Olympians, world record holders, and national and AAU champions.
