The League of Political Scientist and History Society will be hosting a bake sale in the Student Center on Wednesday November, 14th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
I encourage all to come on by and check it out.
DSU group prepares students to vote
Early in-person voting started Monday in Stark County, ND, and a group of Dickinson State University students are making sure people on campus are prepared when they go to the polls.
Congressman Kevin Cramer and District 37 Representative Mike Lefor stopped by Dickinson State University for a "Meet the Candidates" event.
Our Meet the Candidates forums are going well! On the 15th we heard some great points from Al Jaeger and Kelly Armstrong. We encourage everyone to come join us at 5pm in Beck Auditorium for our event tonight, October 22, where we will welcome Mike Lefor and Rep. Kevin Cramer.
U.S. House of Representatives candidate Kelly Armstrong and North Dakota Secretary of State Al Jaeger visited Dickinson State University to talk about the upcoming November election.
We had a great time this evening with our first round of candidates in our series of Meet the Candidates events! We heard some great points and positive goals from Jeannie Brandt, Casey Buchmann, Kylie Oversen, Fern Pokorny, and Keith Fernsler!
We hope everyone will join the League of Political Scientists/ History Society and the College Election Engagement Project for our upcoming events:
October 15: Kelly Armstrong, 5pm Beck Auditorium
October 18: Heitkamp & Cramer Debate Watch Party, 6pm (location TBD)
October 22: Kevin Cramer and District 37 Republican Candidates, 5pm Beck Auditorium
November 1: Travis Brazelton (District 37 Dem-NPL Candidate) 2pm (location TBD)
Come join us on Friday, October 12th @ 4pm to meet D-NPL candidates in Beck Auditorium.
Jeannie Brandt is running for Public Service Commissioner, Kylie Oversen is running for Tax Commissioner, Keith Frensler is running for North Dakota House of Representatives in District #37, and Casey Buchmann is running for Public Service Commissioner.
This event is being put on by the League of Political Scientist and the College Election Engagement Project.

Come and get your hot chocolate ornament for that cold winter's day! At $5 an ornament you can't go wrong, we'll be selling them in the front of Stoxen until 4 pm.

DSU LoPS would like to thank all of our participants and attendees of Leading the Future. Keeping the young people involved in the political process in North Dakota is vital to the future of the state. Having an opportunity to hear what inspired state and local leaders to take up the role of public service was wonderful. The League is proud to have hosted this event and looks forward to hosting similar events in the future.

We would like to thank the ND Supreme Court for hosting us today, and the Chief Justice for taking the time to answer our questions. Overall the trip was a wonderful educational experience for our members, and a chance to see the legal process up close.
