Team Dutchak defeats Team Guevara 10-8 (game 3) and 7-6 (game 4) to win the Blue Hawks World Series.

Game 3 recap:
Team Dutchak and Team Guevara matched up in an exciting back-and-forth game that saw Team Dutchak coming away with a 10-8 victory. The game was tied at eight with Team Dutchak batting in the bottom of the sixth when Derrick Calvillo singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. Team Dutchak collected five hits and Team Guevara had 14.

Team Dutchak opened up an early lead in the second inning when Sam England singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Team Dutchak tallied four runs in the fourth inning. Mathias Dufner, Cade Ostenson, Alberto Nieto, and Calvillo all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Team Guevara scored four runs in the third inning. Karson Backer, Ryder Holien, and Angel Faras each drove in runs during the inning.

Dillon Lange took the win for Team Dutchak, throwing four innings allowing six runs, striking out two and only two walks. Alex Stephens threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Stephens recorded the last six outs to earn the save.

Kobe Krenz took the loss for Team Guevara, allowed three hits and seven runs over three innings, striking out two.

Stephens, Nieto, England, Dufner, and Calvillo all had one hit to lead Team Dutchak.

Team Guevara tallied 14 hits on the day. Backer, Kaiden Reeve, Cedric Jimenez, and Faras each managed multiple hits. Backer led the way with four hits in four at bats.

Game 4 recap:
Team Dutchak got out to a four-run lead in the third inning and held on for a 7-6 victory over Team Guevara in game two of the DH. Team Guevara managed three runs in the failed comeback. Kaiden Reeve, Karson Backer, and Max Anderson each picked up RBIs.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Team Dutchak collected four hits and Team Guevara had seven.

In the first inning, Team Dutchak got their offense started. They scored one run when Jake Clinton doubled and two more when Derrick Calvillo homered to left.

Cade Ostenson started the game for Team Dutchak. Ostenson surrendered four runs on three hits over three innings, striking out three. Sam England came in relief for Team Dutchak to earn the victory on the hill. England allowed two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out two. Alberto Nieto threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen for the save.

Dalton Felish took the loss for Team Guevara. He went one and one-third innings, allowing five runs on four hits and striking out three.

Clinton led Dickinson State Fall 1 with two hits in four at bats.

Team Guevara had seven hits in the game. Reeve and Brannon Hogan each racked up multiple hits. Team Guevara didn't commit a single error in the field. Reeve had 15 chances in the field, the most on the team.

Team Guevara evens the series with a performance by Jose Torres and their hitting.

Team Guevara scores more runs than Team Dutchak, takes the victory on Wednesday by the score of 5-1.

Team Dutchak got things started in the first inning. Brendan Schneiter singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Team Guevara pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Max Anderson grounded out, scoring one run and Karson Backer doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Jose Torres led Team Guevara to victory on the hill. Torres surrendered one run on three hits over seven innings, striking out six.

John Koronka took the loss for Team Dutchak. Koronka surrendered two runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out four and walking one.

Team Guevara had 11 hits in the game. Brannan Hogan, Karson Backer, Angel Faras, and Robert Encinas each collected multiple hits. Hogan led them with three hits in four at bats. Team Guevara was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Kaiden Reeve made the most plays with seven.

Jacob Clinton went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Team Dutchak in hits. Team Dutchak stole six bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Clinton led the way with two.

Cade Myrick helps Team Dutchak take game 1 of the Blue Hawks World Series.

Team Dutchak ran off with the lead late in the game in a 4-3 victory over Team Guevara on Monday. The game was tied at three with Team Dutchak batting in the bottom of the sixth when Cade Myrick hit a solo homer.

Team Guevara scored three runs in the third inning, the big inning came thanks to a single by Cedric Jimenez, a groundout by Angel Faras, and a double by Brannan Hogan.

Team Dutchak got things started in the first inning when Alex Stephens drew a walk, scoring one run. They knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the fifth inning. Stephens doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Tamarek Wrinkle led Team Dutchak to victory on the hill. Wrinkle went six and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, striking out one and walking one.

Hogan took the loss for Team Guevara, he went five and a third innings, allowing four runs on seven hits and striking out nine.

Team Dutchak launched one home run on the day. Myrick went for the long ball in the sixth inning. Alberto Nieto went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead them in hits.

Team Guevara collected seven hits. Hogan and Max Anderson each managed multiple hits for them. Defensively they were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Kaiden Reeve made the most plays with ten.
