Yesterday was a good day.

I’ve known this client for a few years now. I know he’s meticulous, honest and genuine. So when we found a property that was meticulously cared for with a BIG shop with some elbow room, it was the genuinely the perfect fit for him.

I think we can both agree that things don’t always go the direction you think it will during the course of a contract. But, as the saying goes, when there’s a will, there’s a way!

While this one didn’t last on the market long (4 days to be exact), there was a lot of hard work that went into it to make it successful.

Exterior painting happened, deep cleaning was completed, deck repairs and staining happened, gutters cleaned, fascia touched up and more details that needed attention.

It’s easy to see the highlight reel of a home selling quickly, but there are often times many, many hours of conversations (in this case over a years worth), preparation, hard work, emotions and documents that have to line up behind the scenes to get from “let’s list” to recording the sale on closing day.

What an honor it was for Zack and I to represent the amazing Buyers and Sellers, my parents, of my childhood home.

A lot of blood, sweat and tears have gone into this property and a whole lot of lawn and flowers have been planted in the last 40 years here. So many amazing memories have happened here with so many more to come.

We couldn’t have asked for better buyers to carry on the legacy of this property and to make it their own.
