On November 6, 1869, Rutgers and Princeton faced off in the very first college football game EVER played — and Rutgers came out on top, 6–4! 🛡️🔴

153+ years later, we’re still proud to be the birthplace of college football and to carry on the Scarlet Knight spirit. ❤️🖤
