"One piece of advice that I would share with incoming first-year students is to never take no for an answer the first time that you get it. Duke administration is full of resources and people that their whole job is to help you succeed, so tap into those resources and ask as many people as you need for help until you run out of people to ask. Dr. Ford, Beatriz, and Angel are always the first people I reach out to regarding 1GLI specific resources, and I cannot emphasize enough how much they have helped me." -- Tyler Long, David M. Rubenstein Scholar '21

Congratulations, Tyler! We are so proud of you!
