Ready to lead, organize, and make a difference on campus and in our community? Run for one of our open officer positions!

President: Lead the organization, facilitate meetings, and help bring our ideas and initiatives to life.

Secretary: Keep us organized by recording meeting minutes, maintaining records, and communicating important updates.

Historian: Document our journey by capturing events, preserving memories, and sharing our work and impact with the community.

Your voice matters, and your leadership can make a difference! Run for office and cast your vote at our next meeting! ✊🏽

Gente, we aren't just casting ballots, we're disrupting a system that relies on our silence. Voting is a core tactic to reject policies that commodify and control our education, debt-trap our generation, strip away bodily autonomy and civil rights, protections for immigrant communities facing the terror of unchecked ICE raids and deportations and so much more.

After doing our research and consulting with people in the community who are extremely knowledgeable in local politics and whose values align with ours, here are our suggestions for good candidates in the upcoming election.

Join Movimiento ChucanX on Sat. 10/24 at 11 am for an eye-opening historical walking tour at the Chamizal National Memorial!
Did you know that the land we walk on was once the center of a century-long international boundary dispute? Because the Rio Grande shifted its course over the decades, a massive diplomatic tug-of-war unfolded right here in El Paso and Ciudad Juárez. Families were split, thousands were displaced, and history was shaped by the persistence of our borderland communities.
Instead of conflict, this unique history culminated in a rare peaceful resolution, the 1963 Chamizal Treaty, making these grounds a powerful symbol of diplomacy, shared culture, and cross-border resilience.
Come walk the land, unpack our roots, and connect with your comunidad.

If you don’t know who Mrs. Guerrero is, come and learn and most importantly— BE INSPIRED!!!

Yesterday our President Andrea Galeano had her first solo presentation “Resistance in Existence” at the El Paso Mexican American Cultural Center. She gave a fascinating lecture on the life stories and historical context of early 20th century fronteriza revolutionary women, Carmelita Torres and Teresita Urrea. She then “transformed” into their ghosts to tell their life stories from their unique perspectives. Andrea captivated the audience and wowed attendees with her passionate words and her impressive encyclopedic knowledge!
To say that we are all proud of her doesn’t begin to describe our awe. Andrea is a superstar in the making and we’re honored to have her as our President.
Special thanks to THE Eduardo Díaz for inviting us for a celebration in her honor at his beautiful home afterwards! 💗✊🏽
