Even after two years of our Fossil Free Campus campaign, the university still has not released a decarbonization plan. How can we get the university to listen to our demands? What does it look like to work in a social justice career in 2026?

While social justice is under attack at the federal level and across the country, community organizations, nonprofits and everyday people are fighting back, especially right here in Evanston. What can you do to fight for social justice in your career, in your life?

During this panel, part of Evanston Earth Week 2026, leaders from various Evanston-based organizations will share their stories and lessons learned from decades fighting for social justice. Prepared questions will be followed by questions from students in the audience and a short networking session.

Join and for this career-focused event open to all on Tuesday, April 21 at 5:30pm. Free Tomate provided, RSVP at the link in our bio!
