The Kappa Nu Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. took home the Leadership in Advocacy Award, celebrated Soror Alexis Stovall as Sorority Member of the Year, and earned Runner-Up for Founder’s Award at the UE Greek Awards 2026.

A night that reflects the power of purpose and sisterhood. ✨

This past Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, Kappa Nu’s President, Soror Alexis Stovall, participated in the MLK Day of Service event by volunteering at the Evansville African American Museum. She also attended the UE Rally, co-hosted a voter registration initiative with the Evansville Alumnae Chapter, and attended the MLK Day luncheon. Additionally, recent Kappa Nu member Soror Trinitie Terrell returned to UE’s campus to receive the Rising Star Award, an honor recognizing her outstanding achievements and continued impact.

The Kaptivating Kappa Nu City-Wide Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. would like to congratulate Soror Jasmine Bennett!

Soror Bennett graduated with her Bachelor of Exercise Science, with a concentration in Pre-Occupational Therapy and Psychology minor. She has plans to continue her education and pursue a doctoral degree in the Fall of 2026.

During her time, she has served as the Vice President and Treasurer of our chapter. We are so proud of all the accomplishments and contributions Soror Bennett has made and know that she will continue to lead and shine wherever the future takes her!❤️🐘
