Took my cleaned up "as-is" bike on a ride on this beautiful day. Thanks GMU parking and transportation for having that sale.
Do food delivery robots have right of way at GMU intersections? They get to an intersection and hesitate, seem not sure which direction to go. Are drivers supposed to wait and let them cross. Robots don't signal which way they're going.
Anyone selling a general or rapp deck parking pass for this semester?
I find your policy regarding handicap parking not only insensitive, but offensive and well as in violation of the intent of the American With Disabilities Act (ACT) to people with handicaps that prevent them from walking far, walking with pain, or even unable to walk. You have not only a lack of handicap spaces, but a lack of handicap spaces where they are. Even with the existing areas, there are always cars parked unattended with no handicap hanger or license plate, and more aggravating, cars parked waiting to pick someone up while taking up a handicap space. Handicap parking is not a social entitlement, it is a necessity recognized by the Federal Government prompting the ADA for those unable to walk or walk with difficulty. That was one of the many intents of the law. For George Mason to try to make a profit off of the hardship of students who are already paying a significant fee for tuition as well as hundreds of dollars every semester for Mandatory Student Fess (https://studentaccounts.gmu.edu/wp-content/uploads/MandatoryStudentFeeFY19.pdf) to support projects such as the arena, athletic, building fees?, and other areas they may not even be able to access because of the lack of and location of handicap parking reinforces the view that university administration is more interested in raising money to keep the $500K+ salaries and building their personal legacies than advocating for students. I encourage Mason Executive Leadership to revisit the handicap parking policies and reconsider those it is intended to serve.
Are the shuttles running on regular service this weekend?
I paid $490 this year for parking. This year there were times I forgot my parking pass in my other car and coughed up an additional $8 for a daily parking pass. I forget to do this once, and you all give me a 25 dollar ticket? How is that fair?
My son parked in the G lot with his permit between 2 cars with a parking block on front of him. Son works on the weekend and parks his car on Sunday and doesn’t return until Friday. He happened to go to his car on Wednesday for an appointment and there was 2 tickets on his car one from the 30th and one from the 31st. $50 each.. and marked as a restricted area? What the heck? $50 a day? For a parking space that was not clearly marked? Question is when do you tow ? How many tickets before that occurs? I’m just glad he had the appt and noticed the 2 tickets before it became $200 on Friday .. very 😠 irritated you should have appropriate marked spaces.. this is pure bs especially after how much we paid for the permit ! Not happy at all..
When are bus tickets for Thanksgiving break for travel to Va Beach going to be posted?
How about forgiving an $85 parking citation for a hardworking MBA student. Was on campus at 7:00 am for a meeting with MBA administration and parked on the wrong floor of the garage - my bad, but an $85 fine from a school I've already paid $25K to for a degree?!?!
Is information posted on GMU website for November break regarding bus to Va Beach
