College and University Police and Investigators Conference (CUPIC) is an annual event hosted by George Mason University Police Department in Fairfax, VA. This conference focuses on unique aspects of law enforcement and security needs for Colleges and Universities. The conference provides a perfect setting for law enforcement and security personnel to come together and participate in topics and breakout sessions that will be concentrated on college and university level crime and public safety related issues. With our first conference in 2006, we have successfully offered this conference every year since, with 2020 being no exception. What sets this conference apart from similar ones is that it is entirely funded by sponsors and is Low Cost for participants to attend. For the past several conferences we have received over 200 registered attendees and from 25-35 sponsors who exhibited their law enforcement geared products and services. While our primary focus is to offer classes to those in higher education law enforcement, we have many attendees from state and federal agencies, as well as several international guests. Our 2020 conference will be held at a TBD location. Stay tuned for more details. Also mark your calendar and save the week of August 3rd, 2020.
