Announcement:

Several upcoming events!

Meeting this Wednesday, September 28th at 7:30 PM in the Engineering Building, Room 4201. We will have food from Panera, and our guest speaker will be Sean Kennedy from the field of structural engineering.

On Thursday, September 29th there will be a joint meeting between GMU SAME (Society of American Military Engineers) and ASCE from 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM in the Engineering Building, Room 4201.

As many of you may know, the annual career fair is quickly approaching - and to make sure everyone is ready for this, we will be holding our Resume Workshop and Career Panel in the coming weeks. The Resume Workshop will be on September 30th, and The Career Panel is on Monday October 3rd, at 7:30 PM in the Engineering Building, Room 1602. We will have representatives from many different companies at the Career Panel to give advice and answer any questions you may have about internships, resumes, networking, and being hired. Even if you are not looking for a job right now, this is still good practice! The Career Fair itself is on Tuesday, October 11th from 12:00 - 4:00 PM in Dewberry Hall.

Last, we have a fundraiser for ASCE on November 1st, from 11AM - 4PM at Panda Express. Flyers for this event will be out shortly!
