Did you know that people age 45 to 54 are over 20% more likely to book a physical therapy visit than consult a financial planner when thinking about their future well-being?

Physical therapy helps adults in midlife stay active, independent, and ready for whatever comes next. And you do not need a physician’s referral to see a physical therapist.

Did you know that nearly two-thirds of people say their greatest fear about aging is losing their mobility and the ability to do what they love?

Physical therapy helps older adults stay independent and mobile and build strength and endurance so they can keep doing what matters most—whether it’s walking the dog, playing with grandkids, traveling, or staying active in the community.

Meet Pierre Nimmer, a member of our Traditional 2029 DPT Cohort! Pierre has his MD, MS in biology, and his MA in physiology. He is originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin, and enjoys spending time with his wife and three dogs.

Excited about the future, Pierre shares, "After DPT school I hope to get a PT residency in orthopedics and/or sports medicine. After that, I would consider getting a PhD in exercise physiology or nutrition."

We can't wait to see Pierre's growth and the impact he'll have in the field of physical therapy! 🧡

We’re proud to see our DPT student, Hayden Dales, recognized for his dedication to helping fellow students succeed! 🧡🖤 Hayden does so much to support our students both inside and outside the classroom, and we’re excited to see his hard work and commitment recognized. Congratulations, Hayden, on being last week’s ASC Tutor Spotlight! 👏

I also really like the quote from Hayden about starting each tutoring appointment by asking, “What are your goals to accomplish today, or how can I make your day better today?” That says a lot about the kind of future PT he is becoming and could be a great reason to share the spotlight.
