🌟🍎 RIVERDALE EDUCATION ASSOCIATION TEACHER SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK! 🍎🌟
This week, the Riverdale Education Association is excited to shine the spotlight on someone who is TWIRLING her way into the hearts of our youngest Falcons…Miss Sarah Lewis! 💙🤍✨👏
Miss Lewis is officially in her FIRST YEAR OF TEACHING! 🎉🍎📚 That's right…YEAR ONE! She's still in that exciting stage of her career where she gets to experience all the "firsts"—first classroom, first students, first lesson plans, and the first time she realizes that teachers don't actually get to use the bathroom whenever they want! 😂🚽
Miss Lewis is Riverdale's K–2 Intervention Specialist, helping our littlest Falcons build skills, gain confidence, and discover just how amazing they truly are! 🖍️✏️📚❤️
And anyone who works with kindergarteners, first graders, and second graders knows that a typical day can include everything from teaching reading and math to tying shoes, opening snacks, finding lost crayons, and listening to VERY detailed stories that somehow have absolutely nothing to do with the original question. 😂🙋♀️
❤️ What does she enjoy most about teaching?
For Miss Lewis, it's watching each student grow in their own unique way throughout the school year and having the opportunity to work alongside her amazing colleagues! 🥰💙
She loves celebrating those little victories that turn into BIG accomplishments! Whether it's mastering a new skill, gaining confidence, or finally having that magical "I DID IT!" moment, those are the things that make teaching so rewarding! 🌟👏
And apparently, teaching our youngest Falcons all day just isn't enough excitement for Miss Lewis…because she's also stepping into the role of Junior High Basketball Cheer Coach! 📣🏀💙🤍
So she'll spend her days encouraging little learners to give their best and her evenings encouraging cheerleaders to jump higher, cheer louder, and show their Falcon spirit! 📣💪
But HOLD ON…because here's where things get REALLY impressive! 👀🤯
When Miss Lewis says she knows a thing or two about school spirit, performance, and teamwork…SHE IS NOT KIDDING! 🥁✨
Miss Lewis was a COMPETITIVE BATON TWIRLER FOR 17 YEARS! 😳👏 And we're not just talking about twirling a baton in the backyard!
🇺🇸🏆 SHE WAS A TWO-TIME MEMBER OF TEAM USA! 🏆🇺🇸
That's right! Miss Lewis had the incredible honor of representing the UNITED STATES in international baton twirling competitions in FRANCE 🇫🇷 and SWEDEN 🇸🇪!
From the international competition stage to the elementary classroom…talk about an impressive résumé! 🌎✨
And she's not finished with the baton twirling world just yet! Miss Lewis is currently taking courses to become a NATIONAL BATON TWIRLING COACH! 🏅👏
Honestly, most of us struggle to juggle our coffee, keys, and school bags on the way into the building each morning…and she's out here making objects fly through the air ON PURPOSE! ☕🔑😂
When she's not teaching, coaching, or casually representing an entire COUNTRY, Miss Lewis enjoys walking, running, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family! 📚🏃♀️❤️
Apparently, sitting still just isn't really her thing! 😂
Miss Lewis may be just beginning her teaching career, but she's already bringing a whole lot of energy, enthusiasm, dedication, and TALENT to our Riverdale family! 💙🤍
Thank you, Miss Sarah Lewis, for choosing to make a difference in the lives of our youngest Falcons! We can't wait to see all the amazing things she'll accomplish in her teaching career! 🍎🌟
Help us give Miss Lewis a BIG Riverdale welcome in the comments! 👏💙🤍
And if you happen to see a baton flying through the hallway…don't panic. We've got a TWO-TIME TEAM USA ATHLETE in the building. She's got this! 🇺🇸😂✨
