After 11 remarkable years, we share our appreciation as Beth Walker steps down from her role as dean of the College of Business.

The College's first female dean, Beth Walker has led with a focus on student success and belonging, stakeholder outreach and the belief that business has the responsibility to make a positive impact on society. During her tenure, she helped shape what the College stands for today. Through the creation of our strategic plan, came to life, unifying students, faculty, staff and the broader College of Business community around a shared vision. From record undergraduate enrollment growth to national and global recognition, her leadership has put the College on a tremendous trajectory.

As we celebrate the College’s 60th anniversary – and look ahead to the next 60 - we celebrate, with gratitude, her lasting contributions to our community. Thank you, Beth, for your exemplary vision and outstanding commitment to our College. We wish you all the best in your next chapter!

As we look back on these six decades, we reflect on the values that have defined us from the beginning: a strong commitment to community, our mission and our land-grant mission that expands access to high-quality, responsible business education.
