Fort Knox, Hardin, Meade County-National Pan-Hellenic Council

Fort Knox, Hardin, Meade County-National Pan-Hellenic Council "Divine 9 Fraternities and Sororities, together, engaging in Public Service. joined the NPHC as its ninth (9th) affiliate member in 1997.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) was founded on May 10, 1930 at Howard University in Washington, DC. The chartering organizations were:

*Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.,
*Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.,
*Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.,
*Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and
*Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. In 1931, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., jo

ined the council, followed by Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in 1937.

The NPHC incorporated under the laws of the State of Illinois in 1937.

The Annual Greek Week/Juneteenth celebration offered a multitude of events, including Social Action, a Bowling tournament (Battle for the Pins), D9 Mixer, Greek Cookout, and a Sunday praise and worship service gathering.

Day one: Focus on Social Action and the Backpack Jamboree led to the collection of 100 backpacks, fully stocked with school supplies for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year, which were then donated to various organizations throughout Hardin County that provide essential supplies to students in need.

Prizes Awarded for 1st, 5th, and 10th Place; Closest to the Pin, and the Longest Drive.
