Student creativity has a new home at FCC!

Our Student Art Collection, in development over the last three years, now has a permanent place on campus in the Learning Commons. The Collection, which currently features 17 pieces representing a range of media, was officially celebrated during an opening reception on August 12.

The works showcase the creativity of FCC students and represent the diversity of culture, student backgrounds, and styles present in the campus community.

And this is just the beginning! The collection will continue to grow, with new pieces added twice a year following the semester-end Student Juried Exhibition. A rotating committee of FCC employees will select works for inclusion.

The next time you’re on campus, stop by the Learning Commons (in Linganore Hall) and check it out!
