✨USAG Level 8/9 Junior National Team training camp
📍USOPTC - Colorado Springs, CO

Chester Haver and Coach Hunter spent last week training with coaches and athletes from around the country at the level 8/9 national team training camp. This camp brought together the top gymnast from the 2026 Men’s DP nationals results and gave them the opportunity to bond inside and out of the gym and make preparations for the upcoming 2027 competition season.

A selected few of our men’s team participated in the level 4/5 Region 3 Elite Team training camp this past weekend. This camp combines the best gymnast at their respective levels from all 7 states in our region. Here they gather together to train and learn from one another over the course of a 3 day training camp. Each athlete participating was awarded this opportunity based on their individual success at the 2026 Region 3 Championships held back in March.

Congratulations to the following gymnast for qualifying to this year’s Elite Team Camp:
Elijah S., Emmet S., Jude H., Rahul O., Tykhon N., Kamil D., Kai S., Grayson S., Griffin H., Ethan M., and Cesar M.

Special thank you to the coaches of these young men: Coach Hunter, Coach Chris and Coach Elio.

What’s your favorite thing by about gymnastics? For the boys it’s more than just the skills. It’s about the friendships, upbeat team morale, the competitive aspect, new challenges and don’t forget the flips. Mostly flips. 😂🤸🫡

The boys are hard at work honing in their skills leading up to their next season!

Gymnasts call their moves “skills” because each one requires physical training, precise coordination, and mastery to perform correctly. Similar to playing a musical instrument, a gymnast must practice and perfect individual techniques before combining them into a full routine.

Off season training is in full swing at the (6JE) Future Stars National Training Camp ⭐️

Based on their success at the 2026 Men’s Western Championships in April, these athletes qualified to participate in the Future Stars National Training camp and Coaches clinic. Our athletes; Eduardo E, Ollie F, Leonardo M and coaches; Coach Chris and Coach Elio were honored to represent WOGA at the USOPTC as they spent the week learning and training together in Colorado Springs with other top athletes from around the country. Such a great experience and opportunity for our boys and coaches!

Artem K. won  Silver on PB and was 7th in the AA
Alex M. won Silver on HB and was 4th in the AA

In Level 5:
Tykhon N. won Gold in AA, PH, SR, PB, HB. Also Silver on FX and PB
Kai S. won Gold on PB. Silver in the AA and Bronze on FX,  SR, and VT
Lincoln C. won Silver on PH and Bronze on FX
Cesar M. won Gold on PB and placed 4th in the AA
Kamil D. won Gold on PH and placed 4th in the AA
Gregory V. , Zane S. , Vadim V. , and Sullivan B. also represented in the AA.

In Level 6:
Ollie F. (6E) won Gold on VT and PB. Silver on SR and AA. Bronze on HB
Juan C. won Bronze on PB
Hunter P. , Leonardo M , and Dominic B. also represented in the AA.

The Level 8’s won Second Place Team!
In level 8:
Chester H. (8E) won Gold on PB, HB and Bronze on SR and FX.

Cruz M. (8E) won Silver on VT and Bronze on PH
Thomas P. won Silver on PH and Bronze on SR

In Level 9:
Logan C. won Gold on FX and and Silver on HB

Adam P. (9E) won Bronze in the AA and HB

Chester H. Won Gold on FX. Silver on AA, VT. And Bronze on PH, SR. He also won the Marc Yancey award for achieving the highest level 8 Technical Sequence score.

In level 10:
