The Nassau Community College Liberty Partnerships Program recently welcomed mentors from Freeport, Hempstead, Uniondale, and Westbury schools to campus for our annual meeting!

This gathering was a great opportunity to celebrate the collaboration between NCC and our school partners, share ideas, highlight opportunities for our students, and look ahead at the goals that will continue to strengthen the Liberty Partnerships Program.

Together, we are building meaningful pathways to higher education, expanding mentorship opportunities, and helping students see what’s possible beyond high school. We’re grateful to our dedicated mentors and partners for the work they do every day to support student success.

Here’s to another year of collaboration, growth, and opportunity!

The demand for cybersecurity professionals continues to grow, and Nassau Community College can help you get started on a career protecting data, networks, and digital systems.

Students in our Cybersecurity program gain an understanding of the core principles of information security, including the security triad, IT infrastructure domains, and security controls. Through hands-on labs and professional policy and report writing, students develop both the technical expertise and communication skills employers value.

From foundational concepts to practical application, this program prepares students for the next step in their academic journey and future careers in cybersecurity. And there’s even more good news: NCC’s Cybersecurity program is SUNY Reconnect eligible!

We were proud to partner with Career Day Inc. for its 2026 Summer Soirée at Nassau Community College!

The evening brought together educators, community leaders, business professionals, volunteers and supporters to celebrate Career Day Inc.’s accomplishments and the impact its programs have on students.

Through career exploration, mentorship, scholarships and connections with professionals, Career Day Inc. helps students discover possibilities and take meaningful steps toward their futures. We’re proud to support that mission and look forward to continuing this partnership!
