Nassau Community College was proud to host a special exhibition showcasing the incredible work of 68 student-artists from the Sewanhaka Central High School District participating in our Dual Enrollment Art Program.

As the first, and currently only, school district partnered with NCC in offering this unique Dual Enrollment art opportunity, Sewanhaka students are gaining valuable college-level experience while developing their artistic talents. The exhibition highlighted outstanding works created by students enrolled in drawing and painting courses and reflected the creativity, dedication, and passion of these emerging artists.

During a special reception held at NCC, students and their families had the opportunity to view the exhibition, meet faculty and staff, tour our art facilities, and learn more about academic pathways in the visual arts.

We extend our congratulations to all participating student-artists and thank the Sewanhaka Central High School District for its continued partnership in expanding educational opportunities for young creatives. We look forward to supporting the next generation of artists as they continue their academic and artistic journeys.
