Prevention + Education at Mines Mines is committed to raising awareness about sexual violence, educating on consent, and focusing on We focus our efforts on:
1.)

prevention and education to ensure the campus community is knowledgeable about issues/impacts of discrimination, harassment, and interpersonal violence, and what the options are to report;
2.) conducting bystander intervention training for students, faculty, and staff;
3.) striving to create a supportive environment for survivors through programming efforts;
4.) educating the campus community on

consent and healthy boundaries;
5.) creating space for students, faculty, and staff to discuss how to positively impact our campus;
6.) promoting positive social norms, connectedness, empathy, and healthy relationships
