Professors Larry Molnar and Jess Vriesema, along with junior Physics major Rigel Reynolds, took part in the annaul meeting of the American Astronomical Society, presenting their summer research on Contact Binary Stars at a gathering of some 2500 astronomers in Phoenix, Arizona today.

They also hit the trails, doing a little mountain climbing, during their escape from the Michigan winter weather.
