… and that’s a wrap ✌🏽! We held our last “class” with our AMAZING group of seniors, adding in some happy hour wine for good measure 🍹🍷. They completed their final “test” as psych majors, laughed a lot, reminisced on their time at Thiel, and talked about their bright futures. This is a special group who will forever have a place in our hearts 💙💛. We can’t wait to see you walk across the stage on Saturday! 🎓🏆

*Internship Spotlight*

Cody Maxwell, a senior, psychology major, completed an internship at Keystone Adolescent Center this semester!

Cody says, "This internship showed me that working with kids can be both rewarding and challenging. Some days were smooth, but other days took a lot of patience and effort. It helped me learn how to stay calm and manage different situations better. If you’re someone who likes working with kids and doesn’t mind a little stress sometimes, this is a great experience to have. It’s not always easy; however, you do learn a lot and get real experience. Overall, I’m glad I did it because it helped me see if this is something I’d want to do in the future."

We are SO proud of our 💙💛 researchers who showed off their projects from our scientific inquiry course today at the Scholarship & Arts Symposium. Many new skills unlocked and a greater appreciation for the *science* of psychology! 🧠🧪📚

This girl is on 🔥! Fresh off her conference presentation, Emmalea Zummo was awarded first place in the Library Research awards today in the “Beyond the Page” category. Stay tuned, Emmalea tells us she has Part 2 of this project planned next semester with Dr. Gallagher and both projects will be used in her senior honors thesis 💫👀📚.
