Lander University's journal of student essays, fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and art. Contac Calling all Lander University students! Submissions are open!

New Voices welcomes written work from across the Lander University campus including:
• non-fiction creative essays
• research, literary, or artistic response with a personal component (if you have an academic piece you would like to adapt, please email us!)
• memoirs or personal reflections
• fiction
• poetry

Written submissions (of any kind) should be no longer than 15 double-spaced pages, including endnotes/citations. All prose submissions must be submitted as a Word file (.doc, .docx) or in rich text format (.rtf) with 12 pt. legible font and double spaced. Poetry can be single-spaced. New Voices also welcomes artworks from across the Lander University campus including:
• paintings and mixed media
• computer-generated graphics or images
• sculpture
• drawings
• collages
• photographs

Art submissions (of any kind) should be submitted as a picture file: jpeg or png. To submit your work to New Voices, please fill out the New Voices Written Work Submission Form or the New Voices Art Submission Form and email it, along with your submission file, to [email protected]. Please attach the form and your submission to the email with the subject line SUBMISSION: GENRE: TITLE (for example SUBMISSION: POETRY: LOVE IS LOVELY). You must fill out a submission form for each item you would like considered for publication.
