⛪ CHURCH HISTORY — THIS FALL AT EAST GATE BAPTIST COLLEGE!

The Church has a history worth knowing.

Across the centuries, believers have faced persecution, doctrinal battles, cultural change, tremendous opposition—and yet the truth of God’s Word has continued from generation to generation.

In Church History, Pastor Chuck Shorter will lead students through a study of the people, events, movements, challenges, and victories that have shaped the history of the Church.

📜 Learn from the past and those who came before us.
📖 Understand the doctrinal battles that helped shape generations of believers.
🔥 Be challenged by the courage and faithfulness of Christians who stood for truth.
⛪ Better understand the present by understanding how we got here.
➡️ Carry the truth forward to the next generation.

Church history isn’t just about dates, names, and events. It’s about seeing the faithfulness of God and learning from those who stood before us.

PROPHECY — THE BOOK OF DANIEL 📖

Prophecy isn’t only about what happens next.

The Book of Daniel gives us an incredible view of God’s hand throughout history—prophecy fulfilled in Daniel’s own lifetime, prophecy fulfilled in the centuries that followed, and prophecy that still awaits fulfillment.

This semester at East Gate Baptist College, Pastor Dominick Couzzo will lead students through the prophetic Book of Daniel, helping us understand its people, kingdoms, visions, fulfilled prophecies, and events still to come.

But Daniel is more than prophecy.

It is also the story of men who lived with conviction, courage, and unwavering faith while surrounded by a culture that did not share their beliefs. There is tremendous truth here for Christians seeking to stand faithfully for God today.

👑 See prophecy fulfilled through the rise and fall of kingdoms
📜 Examine Daniel’s prophetic visions and their place in history
⏳ Study what has already been fulfilled—and what is still to come
🦁 Learn from Daniel’s courage and faithfulness in captivity
📖 Build confidence in the accuracy and authority of God’s Word

📖 THE BOOK OF ACTS — THIS FALL AT EAST GATE BAPTIST COLLEGE!

What happened after Christ ascended? How did a small group of believers carry the Gospel from Jerusalem into the world—in the face of persecution, opposition, imprisonment, and tremendous cultural barriers?

This semester, we’re taking a thorough study and survey of the Book of Acts—following the people, places, events, preaching, persecution, church growth, missionary journeys, and unmistakable working of God that shaped the early church.

And Acts isn’t merely history. There are timeless truths here for believers who want to serve Christ faithfully in their local church today.

📖 Understand the growth of the early church
🌎 Follow the spread of the Gospel from Jerusalem outward
