She has also achieved Sophomore Honors Distinction, Senior Honors Distinction, and now, with the completion of her Senior Honors Thesis, the Honors Diploma.
Upon graduation, Brianna plans to attend law school at Louisiana State University to pursue a career in criminal litigation. Under the direction of Dr. Gina Filo and Dr.
Christopher Queen, she completed her Senior Honors Thesis: Subversion and Conformity in Twelfth Night:
Olivia's Gendered and Political Agency in a Patriarchal World.
Brianna's advice for those considering completing the Honors Diploma: Stay curious and engaged-choose a topic you're passionate about, and begin with plenty of time to research and become well-versed in the material. The Honors Diploma is not just a challenge; it's an opportunity to thoroughly explore, connect meaningfully with mentors, and contribute something unique to your field. My thesis journey, which earned the Top Honors Thesis Award, was one of the most rewarding academic experiences of my time at Southeastern.
