EMU Teacher Education

Fondly remembering last Friday...Sharon Salinas Morales was the featured student speaker! Sharon shared how studying RJE and pursuing her master's degree at EMU inspires her work as Assistant Director of Human Resources in Harrisonburg City Public Schools.

It was wonderful to see Lorraine Stutzman Amstutz, denominational minister for Peace and Justice for Mennonite Church USA (MC USA), back on campus. Lorraine and Judy Mullet authored The Little Book of Restorative Discipline for Schools.

Happy to host a conversation on Action Research!

Shenandoah Valley PDK events are open to all educators: active, retired, preservice from any school division, public or private schools. Please share this information widely!

The October 20 meeting will be held at Eastern Mennonite University, Tuesday, October 20 (6:00-7:00 p.m.): PDK Focus: Research (EMU Campus Center, Strite Conference Room #105)

A panel of recent graduates from EMU's Graduate Teacher Education program will share their experiences of conducting Action Research in their respective classrooms/contexts. Support young researchers, learn from their experiences, and perhaps receive motivation to engage in your own study!
