We hosted our first college tour! It was amazing as we hosted Ashley, Haley, and Ashley’s mom! They were welcomed by a digital greeting, had a informational session with our president, an amazing lunch in our cafeteria, toured the campus, met with our band director and department chairs in their majors, reserved parking spot, and we dipped them out in Rust swag!!! Hello Star Students and Parents! I hope you all are doing well amid this pandemic we are facing as a nation! My name is Thad Jefferson and I serve as Director of Admissions for Rust College. Rust College is a small senior liberal arts institution located in Holly Springs, MS. We over over 19 degree programs. Due to Covid-19 we have revised our admissions requirements.

Incoming freshman only have to have minimum 2.0 GPA to be accepted. We will only require an official transcript to complete student files. No shot records, no recommendation letters, etc. There is also no ACT requirement. We have academic scholarship funding available. The requirements are listed below..if any of you are interested, inbox me and we can speak further. ACT scores are also not required for scholarships under the revised Covid-19 policy.

Rust college only cost $14,200 TOTAL. This price includes room, board, tuition, and meal plan. Rust college does not charge any out of pocket expense for books or out of state fees. Inbox me if you are interested in learning more or scheduling a tour...I look forward to hearing from you.

Academic Dean scholarships-3.0 GPA- ,$10,000.00

Presidential Scholarship- 3.25 GPA- $12,000.00

Honors Track scholarship- 3.5 GPA- $56,800.00 (Full scholarship)-- this scholarship covers all costs for 4 years.

Due to Covid-19, Rust College has decided to revise it's Admissions requirements for the 2020-2021 school term. The GPA requirement has been lowered to a 2.0 GPA minimum for acceptance and there is no minimum ACT requirement! Students will only be required to submit an official transcript and pay their room deposit to be admitted. Due to school closings, we will work with students on getting official transcripts submitted. We also have funding allocated for students that have a 2.5 GPA or higher. Contact me if interested. Join us each Thursday prospective students! The first session was successful, so we've decided to do this every TWe forgot to do the online trivia last session . We will be doing it this Thursday for sure. The top five students with the most correct answers will have their housing fee paid by the office of admissions.. here is the big announcement!!! The top two with the most answers will receive an academic Dean scholarship of $10,000. It's doesn't matter you academic credentials, you just have to be accepted to Rust College and committed attending! You must be present on the live feed in order to win! See you all Thursday!
