🎀 The Lady Tigers team, coaches, assistant coaches, parents, friends and family and alumni teammates, had the privilege of honoring all women affected by breast cancer, this weekend at Bill Vining Arena this weekend.

We also honored the outstanding accomplishments of many of our teammates, including Hall of Famer Garry Crowder, the winningest coach in the history of women’s basketball at our prestigious school.

Our 2008-2009 teammates were also honored as well as the 2010-2011 teammates which were present.

Our Hall of Fame honorees:
Lin Gamble - 60’s
Carol Bollinger - 70’s
Kathy Hobbs - 70’s
Kay McLelland - 80’s

The tribute to the family of Lori Partridge, our teammate who lost her battle with cancer and the recipient of The Lori Partridge Endowment Scholarship, #10 Samantha Watson a multi-recipient of the scholarship who played a riveting game scoring 13 points in her honor, was beautiful! 🙏🏾

Our Alumni director, Theresa Rayman, athletic director David Sharp, communications director Chris Babb, Wesley Kluck - Ouachita Baptist University our photographer, and tireless supporter and our illustrious teammates from 1962 through 2026 made for a beautiful reunion. 🎉

As we celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day, we are reminded of the incredible legacy built by the strong, talented, and determined women who have worn the purple and gold. Tigerettes, your passion, leadership, and commitment helped pave the way for future Lady Tigers to dream bigger, compete harder, and represent Ouachita with excellence.

This weekend, we are especially excited to reunite and celebrate our amazing alumni during 🎀 Pink Out Weekend as we come together to support Breast Cancer Awareness and honor the powerful women who inspire us both on and off the court.
