Dr. Nick Panzo ‘26 and Dr. Hamza Memon ‘26 are developing a portable, headset-style slit lamp to make eye exams more accessible, especially for patients in rural communities or those who have difficulty accessing traditional eye care.

The device could enable ophthalmologists to remotely evaluate patients, capture high-quality images and collaborate with specialists from virtually anywhere.
