The Brothers of the Xi Kappa Chapter, our undergraduate Sigmas on the UHD campus, stepped up for the National Day of Service by giving back and helping clean up the Houston National Cemetery. Service is at the core of what we do, and these Brothers continue to lead by example and represent the Brotherhood with pride.

🇺🇸 WE REMEMBER. WE HONOR. WE WILL NEVER FORGET. 🇺🇸

Today, the Alpha Beta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor the nearly 3,000 men, women, and children whose lives were taken far too soon. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the service members who answered the call, the families who continue to carry the memory of their loved ones, and every life forever changed by that day.

Though the years have passed, they have not been forgotten. Their memories remain with us, their absence is still felt, and we continue to hold them and their families in our thoughts.

On this day of remembrance, may we continue to demonstrate the strength of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service by honoring their legacy through unity, compassion, and service to others.

🕊️ In remembrance of those we lost. In gratitude for those who served. In honor of those who carry their memory forward.

Never Forget. 9•11•2001 🇺🇸

Thank you to all the Brothers of Alpha Beta Sigma (The Sigmas of Houston) and our Sorors of Zeta Phi Beta who showed up to serve our local community! 🔵⚪️

Together, we partnered with Boynton Chapel United Methodist Church to support their food pantry initiative, handing out essential groceries to local families in need. 🍞📦 Service is at the core of Culture for Service and Service for Humanity, and seeing everyone link up for a common purpose is what it's all about! 🏛️✊🏾

Thank you to every Brother and Soror who took time out of their schedule to give back, lend a hand, and represent the Blue and White family with pride. Looking forward to our next opportunity to serve! 💙🤘🏾
