Meet Sierra, our Vice President of Communications! 💜

Sierra is a sophomore Civil Engineering major in the STEM Path to MBA Program from Malvern, Pennsylvania. As our new VP of Communications, she is excited to get more involved with SWE, meet more of our members, and welcome everyone into our community. She’s also looking forward to making our communications more fun, engaging, and connected throughout the year!

Outside of school, Sierra loves trying new foods from different cultures and exploring unique flavors. During exams, you may find her grabbing a loaded tea with friends!

Meet Tarver, an Engineering Intern at Applied Research Associates, spending her summer at Tyndall Air Force Base, FL with the Pavements group! 🏗️✈️

This summer marks Tarver’s third internship with Applied Research Associates, where she’s gaining valuable hands-on experience in pavement engineering and continuing to grow her skills in the field.

One of Tarver’s favorite parts of SWE has been helping organize outreach events like WOW! That’s Engineering!, inspiring students to explore engineering and see how it can be used to solve real-world problems. 💜

Meet Graclyn, our Secretary! 💜

Graclyn is a senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Robotics from Gulf Breeze, Florida. As she steps into her role as Secretary, she's most excited to meet more people in SWE and get even more involved in our community.

Outside of engineering, Graclyn enjoys painting and reading, making time for creativity and relaxation between classes.

Meet Olivia, our Treasurer! 💜

Olivia is a Chemical Engineering major from Frederick, Maryland. After being an active member of SWE for the past three years, she is now serving as our Treasurer and is excited to continue giving back to the organization.

Olivia joined SWE to build a supportive community, connect with other women in engineering, and learn from those who had already experienced the challenges she was about to face. Outside of class, she enjoys cooking and baking, riding horses, and trying new workout classes with friends!

Meet Morgan, our Vice President of Internal Affairs! 💜

Morgan is a Civil Engineering major from Memphis, Tennessee. After serving as our Webmaster and WOW! That's Engineering! Co-Coordinator, she is now stepping into the role of VP of Internal Affairs, where she's excited to help strengthen our chapter from within and support our members throughout the year.

Her favorite SWE memory is planning and leading WOW! That's Engineering!, where months of hard work came together to inspire children through hands-on STEM activities. Stepping into a mentor role and sharing her passion for STEM made all of the planning worthwhile. Outside of class, Morgan is a huge bookworm who loves discovering new reads and sharing recommendations on Goodreads!

We're so excited to see all that Morgan accomplishes this year and can't wait to be back in the fall!
