Math Tutoring by Talib Sharif Talib, a life long martial arts practitioner, joined the Jow Ga Kung Fu system in Washington, DC the summer before entering Bowie State University.

Chief instructor, Sharif Talib, has acquired 30+ years of teaching and martial arts experience. Chief instructor, Sharif Talib, earned a degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Bowie State University before entering the teaching profession and acquiring 30+ years of teaching experience in th

e PG County and DC Charter School Systems. Each 60 minute session includes:
- One on one guided assistance with homework and skill practice.
- Regular skill evaluations for misconceptions and gaps.
- On line resources to reinforce skill practice.
- Phone assistance with homework during the week.
- Regular email communication with math teacher for suggested practice. Not long after joining, Mr. Talib began opening classes for his instructors and soon became an assistant instructor. Each 90 minute class covers the following:
- Strength, flexibility and coordination drills.
- Breathing and meditation practices.
- Kung Fu foundation skills.
- Sparring techniques and drills.
