Spring 2026 Chicago Professional Trip!

This past weekend, our members had the opportunity to travel to Chicago and connect with a variety of companies. Our chapter split into three groups, each visiting different organizations to learn about career opportunities and tour their offices.

We’re incredibly grateful to all of our hosts for welcoming us, sharing their insights, and giving us the chance to network and learn more about their companies.

Companies visited:
Marketing: MoLo Solutions, McDonald’s, and rEvolution

Accounting: EY and Deloitte

Finance: BMO and Aon

Last week we wrapped up our 3 day case competition with Uline! AKPsi teams competed for $2,500 and a first round interview by analyzing suppliers for a product that they pitched to Uline judges. Huge thanks to our Director of Corporate Relations, Josh Thomas, Vice President External, Andrew AbouAssaly, Tippie Career Services, and the Uline judges for making this amazing professional experience possible!

AKPsi Iowa Alumni Spotlight with Brock Lu and Andrew Hutchcroft!

In Brock’s words, “AKPsi helped prepare me in a few different ways. I found the internship through an AKPsi career fair, prepared for the recruiting process through professional workshops, and now I will be working with brothers.”

For Advice for current students, Andrew says “My biggest piece of advice would be to say yes to every opportunity that comes your way. You never know what opportunities you can get if you put yourself out there and try new things. Even if some opportunities don’t work out perfectly, the learning experiences they provide are extremely valuable to help you grow personally and professionally.“

Last Wednesday, we hosted 15 companies for our private career fair open for members to connect with recruiters and employers looking for Hawkeyes. Huge thanks to our Co-Directors of Professional Development, Mia and Lily, for organizing and putting on this amazing experience!

Last Sunday, members of AKPSI spent an evening volunteering at the Iowa City Care and Adoption Center. The brothers had a great time assisting in tasks and caring for the animals! 🐈🦮🐶
