Career Services

Hi there, my name is Giulia and I'm a Peer Career Advisor (PCA) in the Career Services office. I’m happy to say that we’re still offering Drop-Ins to support students Monday-Thursday from 12-4 pm.

I know that the unknown of this COVID-19 situation is creating stress for students navigating internships, jobs, etc so I’m happy to help. We have a lot of resources about how to deal with this and what places are still hiring. People can sign up through the link below using Handshake.

https://ithaca.joinhandshake.com/appointments/new

If you want to recommend students see me directly, I put my hours below! We have 2 PCAs working at a time, so there are 2 schedules to sign up for (see the PCA 1 or PCA 2 options)

My work hours:
Mondays and Wednesdays 1- 3 pm.
Tuesdays and Thursdays 1 - 2 pm.
I'm PCA 1 on Mondays and Tuesdays-Thursdays I'm PCA 2.

Feel free to send me any questions!! Thanks again. Stay healthy and safe.

Hello, hope everyone is doing well in this hard time!
There will be weekly zoom meetings for the international community at 3 pm every Sunday. Please join Diana and your international colleagues if you’d like to “see” others and catch up. We have people literally all over the world and we know this may not be a convenient time in your time zone – but if you are still up or if you got up early, do join us and otherwise keep in touch! The link below will also allow you to add it to your calendar so you can see the reminder that this is happening every Sunday until the end of the semester.

[COLORS OF THE WORLD]
“The color red represents the blood shed by soldiers who lost their lives during Turkey’s War of Independence against the colonial powers.
Over 40,000 turkish soldiers were killed and at night when the crescent moon appeared, it reflected on the red pool of blood on the battlefield together with the planet Venus, which was considered a star at the time.
The crescent and star were also popular during the Ottoman Empire and is an Islamic symbol representing the majority of the nation's religious affiliation and the white star also represents the diversity of turkish cultures.”
