The Theme Park Engineering Group at Cornell University will be hosting the Theme Park Entrepreneur Competition in the Spring. This competition will be a purely virtual competition lasting the entirety of the month of February. The goal is to pitch a 5 year plan to create a successful theme park given a plot of land and certain restrictions. Teams will be no more than 4 students, although multiple

teams per university will be allowed. Team submissions will be judged in 4 categories:

1) Demographic (How well your park matches your intended demographic)
2) Purpose/Cohesiveness (How well your park ties together to complete the stated purpose)
3) Coaster Design (One of the allotted rides will be a coaster of your own design)
4) Practicality/Feasibility (How realistic is the design of your park in terms of future outlook)

For each ride/attraction installed a supporting explanation of why the ride was chosen, the corresponding stats, and predicted price of the ride will be required. Registration for the competition will open January 1st and close January 28th. The competition will open on February 1st and details about the requirements will be send out that day at 12:00PM. All Submissions for the competition will be due on Saturday, February 28th at 5:00PM.
