Apply early, the U.S. Department of State has posted that Routine Processing is running 6-8 weeks and Expedited Processing is 2-3 weeks. Expedited Processing costs $60.00 extra per passport. Come in early and apply for your next passport.

It is the first of the year and a great time to check the expiration date in your passport. It may be time to renew. Most countries require 6 months validity left on the passport AFTER you leave their country. If you have any questions, contact ETSU Passport Services at 423-439-7277.

Happy New Year! With spring break coming soon, prepare for your international travel by applying early. Peak season for passports is beginning and processing times will increase, be sure to apply at least 2-3 months prior to departure to insure your passport arrives in time for your vacation.
