Three alumni of Rockhurst University will be recognized for their outstanding contributions to their career fields and for their service to both the campus and their communities.

🏥 Jessica Lea ’14 EMBA is the 2026-27 recipient of the St. Ignatius Alumni Award, honoring her outstanding leadership and professional accomplishments in Kansas City’s healthcare and business communities. As co-founder and former CEO of Tria Health and now president and COO of Stellus Rx, Lea has pioneered pharmacist-led, patient-centered care while demonstrating a deep commitment to leadership, mentorship and service.

🙏 Denny Hogan ’70 is the recipient of the Xavier Medal of Honor, recognizing his decades of dedicated service to Rockhurst University and the Omaha community. Through leadership with organizations including Boys Town, Catholic Charities USA, and St. Vincent de Paul Parish, as well as his continued efforts to strengthen the Rockhurst alumni community, Hogan exemplifies a lifelong commitment to service and community.

🎙️ Carolina (Cruz) Davis ’16 will receive the Faber Young Alumni Award, recognizing her accomplishments as an Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist and her commitment to serving the Kansas City community. As a KCTV5 News Kansas City anchor and creator of “Cinco con Carolina,” a Spanish-language news initiative connecting Kansas City’s Spanish-speaking community with trusted local information, Davis uses her platform and talents to advance accessible journalism and give back through organizations including Harvesters - The Community Food Network, Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, and Rockhurst University.

Congratulations to all winners! 🎉
