Instructor Bryan's 4th semester clinical group participated in a "Stop the Bleed" presentation by one of Ascension's longtime ER nurses. The students learn how to respond and intervene in a situation where life threatening bleeding is occurring. They learn how to cover and pack wounds, and even how to apply tourniquets. After completing the training, they officially become certified as a participant in the course for 2 years. Such a great experience and what a great thing for them to have on their resumes!
