Masters Learning Center at Old Hickory Country Club Mission: To make golf enjoyable and consistent by allowing students to own their swings. Teaching golf has always been a great passion. Instruction is art.

Scott was born and raised in Knoxville, TN, he played collegiate golf at and graduated from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville. I have enjoyed helping golfers of all abilities from the novice to very successful playing professionals. My teaching philosophy is for every student to own their own swing! With that being said, I hold steadfast to the belief that the grip and being able to control

the club face throughout the golf swing is fundamental to have a repeatable motion. Like forming all art, it takes time and effort for the teacher to impart knowledge and good habits to the student. Using training aids which allows the student to feel the proper positions or techniques enhances the video swing analysis to see in-swing fundamental improvements. Then we turn the student’s weaknesses into their strengths. Also, proper physical and mental game practice must be consistent to achieve their true potential. My goal is to grow the game of golf and make each round more enjoyable than the last. I look forward to helping you take your game to the next level!
