UC San Diego Dancesport

UC San Diego Dancesport UC San Diego's only competitive Latin and Ballroom dance team! Hello! We are UCSD Dancesport, our university's only competitive Ballroom and Latin dance team!

This quarter, SP21, we are practicing Monday to Thursday at 8PM over Zoom, and Tuesday and Thursdays at 7:30pm on campus. If you are interested in joining the team and attending our practices, please message us! While some members have prior experience in various forms of dance, the majority of our members joined with no dance experience and excel at competitions! Our dancers compete in couples da

nces against other couples in many types of dances. These dances include Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive, Waltz, Tango, Salsa, Swing, and many more! We attend competitions all over California and in Nevada, including ones hosted by Stanford University, UC Riverside, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and UN Las Vegas. We even host our own competition each year the first week of March! You can find out more about us at our website:
