Ever wonder how you really learn about crops? You get your hands dirty and grow them!

At Otero College, our Agriculture students are learning hands-on through our Living Lab! Watching crops develop, learning what makes them thrive, and gaining real-world experience they can take straight into the agriculture industry.

Ever wonder what a HyFlex Ag class looks like.

At Otero College, High Flex (HyFlex) courses are designed to give students more choice in how they attend class.

Typically, a HyFlex class lets a student participate in one of several ways:

* In person — attend class on campus.
* Live online — join the class remotely while it is happening.
* Sometimes online/asynchronously — depending on the specific course, some work may be completed through the learning platform on your own schedule.

That makes them particularly useful for students who work, have family responsibilities, live farther from campus, or have changing schedules. Otero’s course schedule also offers traditional, virtual-live, fully online, and shorter 8- or 10-week.
