The LaMarque Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated proudly celebrates our 2026 scholarship recipients and our chapter's 65 years of Sisterhood, Service, Scholarship, and Social Action in our community! ❤️🤍

We were honored to recognize our outstanding seniors during our scholarship banquet and were inspired by our guest speaker, former scholarship recipient Mr. Malachi McNair, whose words encouraged our graduates as they prepare for their next chapter.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated pauses today to honor all those who gave their lives in service to this nation. We are anchored in their legacy, shaped by their sacrifice, humbled by their courage, and committed to living out the values they protected.

LMAC enjoyed the Panhellenic Greek Mixer this past weekend. The D9 collected diapers and wipes and more for the Galveston County Teen Parent Coalition. We had such a great time with our D9 sisters and brothers.

Today we honor our beautiful mothers — those who guide our steps, watch ahead for danger, and pour themselves into others without hesitation. From mothers by birth to grandmothers, godmothers, and every mother figure who stands in the gap, your love is the foundation upon which we stand.

We also hold space for our sisters experiencing the complexity of joy and grief on this day. For those navigating their own experience of becoming a mother, and those missing the presence of theirs — we see you, we are you, and we love you.

La Marque Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated attended the Galveston County Pan-Hellenic Council Annual Founder's Day Banquet yesterday. LMAC would like to say congratulations to our 🔺Outstanding Greek of The Year, Soror Consuelo Guillory -Adams for her hard work also big congratulations to our two ✨ 5️⃣0️⃣ year greek membership Sorors, to Soror Janet Fields and Soror Jacqueline Richardson.

Mayor Dedrick Johnson blessed our hearts with a dynamic message on "Excellence in Action, Investing in the Next Generation." Please congratulate our Sorors on a job well done!! ❤️🔺🐘

LMAC Delta Academy and Delta GEMS youth groups visited Project Row Houses in Third Ward, Houston TX. The young ladies participated in a guided walking tour through the historic homes that were originally homes for emancipated slave families. Each house had been refurbished and decorated by well known African American artists.

The girls also enjoyed a delicious brunch before boarding the chartered bus heading to the venue. The tour was a phenomenal learning experience and a lot of fun. .
