The 2026 Missouri General Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026, and the voter-registration deadline is Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Missouri voters who qualify to vote absentee by mail should also be mindful that requests for mailed absentee ballots must reach the appropriate local election authority by 5:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday before the election. Completed absentee ballots must be received by the close of polls on Election Day to be counted.

Today, we celebrate the power of the PAUSE!

Dear Black Girl, you deserve a day when you are not required to be everything to everybody. A day when your strength can take a back seat to your serenity, your responsibilities can make room for restoration, and your peace becomes a PRIORITY, not an afterthought.

Too often, Black women and girls are celebrated for how much we can carry, but today, we want to remind you that you are just as worthy when you put it all down.

✨ REST without guilt.
✨ RECHARGE without explanation.
✨ RECLAIM your time and energy.

💚🤍 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY | OCTOBER 10

Your mental health matters, even when you make it look like everything is okay.

Today, the Eta Gamma Chapter of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. joins the global community in recognizing World Mental Health Day.

We often celebrate the strength of those who keep showing up, pushing through, and pouring into others. But today, we want to remind you that strength is not measured by how much you can carry without breaking. Sometimes, strength is recognizing when you need to put something down.

Mental health is not just about surviving difficult moments. It is about creating space to breathe, setting boundaries without guilt, seeking support without shame, and understanding that taking care of yourself is not selfish. It is necessary.

💚 Give yourself permission to rest.

💚 Extend yourself the same grace you extend to others.

💚 Check on the strong ones, too.

💚 Remember that you can be accomplished, compassionate, and capable while still needing care.

You do not have to suffer in silence to prove that you are strong, and you do not have to reach your breaking point to deserve a break.

As women committed to service, sisterhood, and uplifting our communities, we recognize that healthier minds help build healthier families, stronger communities, and brighter futures.
