Creative College Connections is an educational consulting practice. I bring 25 years of professional experience, insight, and knowledge to my consulting work with students and their parents. In this work, I focus on: * Reducing anxiety by demystifying the college admission process. * Helping students build a plan through high school to meet goals * Identifying "best fit" colleges for the student: those that fit academically, personally, and financially * Breaking down what seems to be an overwhelming task (applying to college) into sensible and manageable steps * Helping families maintain a semblance of "normalcy" through the college admission process.

Mission: +Reducing anxiety by demystifying the college admission process. +Identifying "best fit" colleges for the student: those that fit academically, personally, and financially +Breaking down what seems to be an overwhelming task (applying to college) into sensible and manageable steps +Helping families maintain a semblance of "normalcy" through the college admission process.

Traditionally May 1st is the Universal Reply Date for colleges, in which seniors should have accepted and made a deposit at their chosen school.
Due to changes related to Covid-19, some schools have extended their reply date and some schools have not changed the date. Of the schools that have updated the NACAC College Admissions Status Report, 389 indicated they are still keeping a May 1st reply date and 415 have indicated they are extending the deadline.
Make sure you checked if what deadline your school is using and make replies and deposits as appropriate. Here is a link to the NACAC report or you can check on each college's admissions website, https://www.nacacnet.org/news--publications/newsroom/college-admission-status-coronavirus/.

Creative College Connections is an educational consulting practice founded in 2010 by Hannah Serota, M.Ed, CEP. What began as small solo consulting practice has grown into a business with an exceptional team of educational consultants who are passionate about helping students identify colleges that fit them best. We believe that every young person is unique and deserves to discover colleges where he or she will thrive.

Our consultants have spent many decades working in college admission offices and counseling high school students. Although our main office is located in Leesburg, VA, we serve students throughout the US and the world.

Most importantly, we get it. We know that college admission feels like a daunting process to many families. We are here to help. We focus on: * Helping students build a plan through high school to meet goals * Identifying best-fit colleges for the student: those that fit academically, personally, and financially * Breaking down what seems to be an overwhelming task (applying to college) into sensible and manageable steps * Reducing anxiety by demystifying the college admission process * Helping families maintain a semblance of normalcy through the college admission process And, we always remember the importance of personal warmth and laughter.

Want to become a doctor? Worried about the price tag? The high costs of medical school and associated debt is creating lots of new specialists and not so many primary care physicians. I believe that we will see an increasing number of states creating financial incentives for students to pursue careers in primary care.
AMAZING Consul - I learned so much! I strongly suggest this to all parents/pre-college students! Time/money WELL spent! Thank you Hannah!
This is huge. The beginning of a trend?
