ACHA welcomes students from all four-year or two-year equine programs in the country. Membership benefits include access to a national network of equine industry professionals involved in Collegiate Horsemen’s, low-cost attendance at the national convention, and the opportunity to compete for annual awards.

Joining is easy and we welcome your school to join by going online to our website, https://collegiatehorsemen.org/ and selecting the Membership tab and selecting ‘Submit your club dues here’. However, if individual students are interested in this opportunity without having access to a chapter, they are more than welcome to join as individual members. In order to do so they would follow the directions above, but select ‘Submit your individual memberships here’ instead.

Club dues ($35 by Nov 1 and $50 thereafter) and individual student dues ($5 per member) should be submitted by November 1 of each academic year to receive the full benefits of membership. Clubs are welcome to use our national constitution to create their chapter constitutions in accordance with their local student organization guidelines.

Join today! We would love to have you as part of our family!

Happy National Day of the Cowgirl!

Every year on this day we recognized women of this industry. We honor them for their resilience and strength. Those in ranching, farming, equine sports, and general western culture. We thank you for your dedication of representing women in this role.

Did you know we have a merch store?!

For this merch spotlight we have our former President, Maggie Waslaski repping our t-shirt! She was one of our officers from the 2025-2026 executive board to get the store up and running! She knows firsthand the work and dedication we have put into making our store what it is!

If you are interested in representing our amazing association like Maggie, shop now at the link below! We currently have t-shirts, polos and hoodies available to choose from! All are great quality and true to size!

T-shirts for the days you wanna be comfy or have barn chores. Polos that are customizable for professional development events. And hoodies for cold nights when you need another layer. We have it all!

What’s even better is we are is the process of expanding our store! We are thinking hats will be a great addition to the merch basics! Let us know what you wanna see in the store by commenting on this post or on our story! We would love to hear from you!

Hi everyone! As many of you know our professional development and networking convention, at the beginning of this year, was in Lexington, Kentucky hosted by University of Tennessee!

A yearly convention where we have the opportunity to get together with like-minded students looking for a career in the equine industry.

This experience gave a look into many different equine specific facilities that supplied our students with internship ideas, the ability to network with a plethora of companies, and in general have fun in fellowship with their peers.

From breeding facilities, to veterinary practices, to race tracks, our students got to learn all there is to know about the horse world of Kentucky.

At the end of convention, students got to meet a bit more personally with some of the facilities we toured at our awards dinner. This gave them the opportunity to talk one on one about what their future careers could look like.
This is then where we handed out some yearly awards and said farewell to our amazing 2025-2026 executive board. While wishing them the best on their new endeavors, they got to welcome our new board!

President: Bella Mcdonald
Vice President: Alana Bromenschenkel
Secretary: Gretchen Gautz
Treasurer: Claire Metzger
Director of Communications: Kristine Krstevski
National Representative: Chiara Castronovo

Thank you for everyone who attended this year! We hope to see you next spring!
