Behind every maritime credential is a combination of training and experience.

STCW Basic Training is one foundational requirement on the path toward an Able Seafarer–Deck endorsement. The course develops essential skills in personal survival, fire prevention and firefighting, elementary first aid, and personal safety and social responsibilities.

Additional RFPNW, sea-service, assessment and survival-craft requirements apply.
