The library’s 2026 Fall Semester Hours begin Monday, August 24 and run through Tuesday, December 15.

🕒 Regular Hours

Monday–Thursday: 7:30 a.m.–11:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 12:00–5:00 p.m. (1st & 2nd floors open)
Sunday: 1:00–11:00 p.m.
📌 Fall Semester Exceptions

Sunday, August 23: 1:00–9:00 p.m. (1st & 2nd floors open)
Monday, September 7: Closed for Labor Day
November 21–22: Closed for Fall Break
November 23–25: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (Fall Break)
Thursday, November 26: Closed for Thanksgiving
November 27–28: Closed for Fall Break

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University (NYITCOM at A-State) have established a new partnership that creates a direct pathway from undergraduate education to medical school, allowing students to pursue both degrees while remaining in Arkansas.

Through the new Pre-Med/Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.) Medicine Pathway Program, qualified students have the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree from UA Little Rock before continuing to NYITCOM at A-State to complete a D.O. degree.

The first cohort is expected to begin in Spring 2027. Applications are now open and are available to DCSTEM students pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree, excluding seniors.

Fall 2026 Welcome Week is almost here! 🎉

From the Welcome Back BBQ and Little Rock Soccer vs. Miami to first-day-of-class photos and the Block Party, there are plenty of opportunities for students to connect, get involved and start the semester with Trojan spirit. ❤️

And families, there’s something for you, too! Parents and families of residential students are invited to join us for the Resident Parent Reception as part of the Welcome Week festivities.
