Strawberry seedlings are back in stock! 🍓

These are always one of our most popular seedlings, and the last time we restocked them, they sold out quickly.

Our vigorous, everbearing strawberries produce sweet, juicy berries and are great for garden beds, raised beds, containers, hanging baskets, and hydroponic gardens.

Is now the right time to grow strawberries?

If you live in a warmer climate, fall can be a great time to get strawberries growing and established. And if you're growing indoors or in a hydroponic garden, strawberry season doesn't necessarily have to end when summer does.

If colder weather is already on its way where you live, you may want to wait until spring depending on your growing setup.

Either way, we wanted you to know they're back!

Fall planting season is here and we’ve added some exciting new varieties to the lineup:

For the first time ever, we’re growing **Sun Gold Tomatoes!** We’ve had lots of customer requests to add Sun Gold to our lineup, and they’re finally here!

Known for their exceptionally sweet, fruity, tangerine-orange cherry tomatoes, there’s a reason Sun Gold is such a favorite.

Sun Gold is a warm-season crop, while our other new additions are great choices for fall and cooler-weather growing.

Our teammate Ayako harvested this beautiful purple basil from our garden at our farm and used some of it to make a refreshing homemade shochu cocktail. The deep purple color of the basil turned into a gorgeous pinkish-red shade 💜🩷❤️

She also dried some of the purple basil and crumbled it into homemade furikake (rice seasoning), then mixed it into rice to make onigiri (Japanese rice balls) 🍙

From fresh basil, to a colorful cocktail, to homemade rice balls. Nothing wasted… just another fun way to enjoy homegrown purple basils👩🏻‍🌾🌿

A beautiful visitor stopped by this morning! 🦋🌿

This giant swallowtail butterfly rested on our passion fruit leaves. One of our favorite parts of growing is seeing all the other life that finds a home among the plants. 💚

🌱 From seedling to harvest: Shungiku!

We offered Shungiku seedlings for a limited time this season, and we loved seeing what one of our customers grew with them. Look at that harvest! 🙌

Also known as chrysanthemum greens, Shungiku is a flavorful leafy green popular in Japanese and other East Asian cuisines.

And we especially love what she made with her harvest: Shungiku wrapped with prosciutto and topped with purple basil flowers. All fresh from the garden. 🌿🌸

We’re done growing Shungiku seedlings for this season, but this is exactly why we love offering limited-run varieties alongside our everyday favorites.
