UCLA’s Pre-Physician Assistant Transfer Association is a society dedicated to providing resources and support for Pre-PA transfer students at UCLA.

Join Pre-Physician Assistant Transfer Association at UCLA for our 𝗣𝗔𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 on 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟭𝘀𝘁, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 at 𝟭𝗣𝗠 𝗣𝗦𝗧/𝟰𝗣𝗠 𝗘𝗦𝗧.

This panel will address the multifaceted importance of inclusion and diversity in both PA schools’ educational systems and the PA profession. Discussions surrounding persisting disparities, inequalities, and inequities in healthcare that under-represented minority communities face will be encouraged. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from PAs’ personal experiences and ways in which pre-PA students as future clinicians can commit to practicing socially-conscious care. Attendees will also gain tips on the different ways to showcase diversity on the CASPA application.

The special guests for this event are 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗮ñ𝗼, 𝗡𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗺, and 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗱𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀.

Join Pre-Physician Assistant Transfer Association at UCLA for our 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗔 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 event on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝘁𝗵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭.

Interested in learning about the different ways to earn direct patient care experiences as a pre-PA student? Want to gain insight through personal experiences from current PA students and how their patient care experiences have helped them in PA school?

Our guest speakers will be sharing personal experiences from their own pre-PA journeys. Our special guests for this event include 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐬 (former CNA and ER scribe), 𝐀𝐮𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 (former CNA, PT aide, and scribe), 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐌𝐜𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 (former EMT, MA, scribe, and COPE Health Scholar), and 𝐑𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐚 (former MA, PT aide, and electrocardiograph technician).
